Question 1

Do I need an account for a free QR?

Accepted Answer

No. Paste a link, download a plain black PNG. Nothing is stored and nothing is tracked.

Question 2

How long does it take?

Accepted Answer

Seconds. A branded Designer QR takes a few minutes if you upload a logo and pick colors.

Question 3

Does QRkhatm work in Arabic?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The studio and captions are bilingual with full right-to-left layout.

Question 4

Can I put my logo in the middle?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on Designer and Dynamic. The studio raises error correction so the code still scans with the logo in place.

Question 5

Will a colored QR still scan?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as long as the contrast is high enough. The studio checks contrast and density before you export and warns you if it may not scan.

Question 6

What file formats do I get?

Accepted Answer

PNG, SVG and PDF, with a transparent-background option. Free codes export as a 1024 px PNG.

Question 7

What is the difference between static and dynamic?

Accepted Answer

A static code points to one fixed destination forever. A dynamic code points to a qrx.ae short link you can repoint any time, with scan counts.

Question 8

Can I change a static code after printing?

Accepted Answer

No. The destination is encoded in the pattern itself. If you expect to change it, choose Dynamic before you print.

Question 9

What happens to scans if I cancel?

Accepted Answer

The short link stays active to the end of the paid period, then for a 7-day grace period. After that it shows an inactive page and any hosted PDF is deleted. Renew within the grace period to keep it.

Question 10

What is the PDF to QR add-on?

Accepted Answer

We host your PDF (menu, catalog, brochure) and give you a code that opens it in the browser. Added per file to any Dynamic plan. Prices are on the Pricing page. Replace the file any time and the printed code keeps working.

Question 11

What is the Image to QR add-on?

Accepted Answer

Upload a photo of your menu, flyer or poster and the code opens it full-screen on any phone. Added per image, on Dynamic plans only. Prices are on the Pricing page. Swap the picture any time without reprinting.

Question 12

Can I add a PDF to a Free or Designer QR?

Accepted Answer

No. Hosting needs a link we control, so add-ons attach to Dynamic codes only. You can make a new Dynamic code with the same design.

Question 13

Do add-ons count scans?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Scan counts are included for every hosted file or image, in the same dashboard as your other dynamic codes.

Question 14

How small can I print a QR?

Accepted Answer

Keep it above 2 × 2 cm for a short link, bigger for long content. Leave a quiet zone of at least 4 modules around the code.

Question 15

Can you print for me?

Accepted Answer

No. Export a PDF or SVG and send it to any print shop.

Question 16

Which currencies do you charge in?

Accepted Answer

AED, SAR, QAR, BHD, OMR, KWD and USD, through Stripe. Prices are shown in your currency on the Pricing page.

Question 17

Do you offer refunds?

Accepted Answer

You may request a refund within 7 days of subscription, provided you have not substantially used the paid services. Email support@qrkhatm.com from your registered email within the 7-day window; approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Refunds for verified technical failures are honoured even outside the 7-day window.
